On Monday 29th May 2023 the Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Centre for Preventative Paediatrics “Americos Argyriou”. The aim of the MOU includes the details of the financial support of the Centre for Preventative Paediatrics “Americos Argyriou” by the Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation, as well as the collaboration between the two organisations for the improvement and advancement of paediatric healthcare services in Cyprus.
The Memorandum was signed at the headquarters of the Centre for Preventative Paediatrics “Americos Argyriou” in Limassol, by Mr. Charalambos Pattihis on behalf of the Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation and by Dr Argyris Argyriou on behalf of the Centre for Preventative Paediatrics “Americos Argyriou”.
Dr Argyriou thanked Mr. Pattihis both for his contribution and for his support for the Centre for Preventative Paediatrics. Following the meeting, the team of the Charalambos & Elena Pattihis Foundation was given an informative tour of the premises and the facilities of the Centre for Preventative Paediatrics “Americos Argyriou”.
Since 1988, the ongoing mission of the Centre for Preventive Paediatrics “Americos Argyriou” is to provide all Cyprus residents with high quality specialized prenatal and neonatal screening programs so as to help provide the best possible start in life to each and every child in Cyprus.
The Centre’s screening programs have always been and will continue to be offered FREE of charge to the entire population of Cyprus, supporting the principle of ‘equality’ in access to public health services.
